Saturday 20th September The Packhorse, £5, doors 8.00pm Wounded Knee - One man from Edinburgh who does rustic folk singing that is as old as the hills and the trees, fed through an analogue delay pedal. His ululations hang in the air. As strange as it is beautiful.
Boom Edan - The Glasgow based Finn has only just started bringing his psychedelic brew to the people, you can expect crypto-cherry brew for your ears and mouths.
The Bolide Awkwardstra - The Brighton septet bring a dizzy prescription of avant wrongness with voice/tape/reed/string/toy freeness reminiscent of Art Ensemble of Chicago. Played a storming gig at the cardy 2 months ago to about 5 paying audience members and still gave it their all and were bloody cheerful chappies(get too much sun down south) at the end of it.
Ashtray Navigations - Local pub bores. Still dining out on being compared with Santana.
